The Office of the CIO® has been asked if any of its members would like to participate on a panel during the Americas Conference on Information Systems (AMCIS) which will be held in San Francisco from August 6 to 9, 2009. This conference is being hosted by The Association for Information Systems (AIS) (http://home.aisnet.org/displaycommon.cfm?an=3). Tony Scott, the Corporate Vice President and CIO at Microsoft is the keynote speaker of the conference and more than 1,000 leading IS academics are anticipated to be in attendance. As part of the conference, Jerry Luftman, the Executive Director and a Professor at Stevens Institute of Technology’s School of Technology Management in Hoboken, NJ, will be facilitating a panel of 5 CIO Practitioners on Friday, August 7, at 8:30 AM, at the San Francisco Marriott. The panel discussion will focus on what IT executives are looking for in university graduates (both Undergraduate and Graduate). Additionally, the panel will focus on how university and practitioners can collaborate. The Office of the CIO® has been asked if any of its members would like to participate in this panel.
